Featherwood hosts regular events and activities throughout the year. From social braais to AGMs, there is always something to bring our community together.

Social Events

Regular community braais, themed evenings, and social gatherings at the clubhouse.

Includes:
  • Monthly bring & braai — first Friday of the month, Clubhouse (Samuel Oosthuizen)
  • Church services — second Wednesday of the month, Clubhouse (Samuel Oosthuizen)
  • Bible study — Thursdays at 14:00 (Lucille van Schalkwyk)
  • Walk in the botanical gardens — last Tuesday of the month (Yvonne Kasselman)
  • Knitting & crochet — Tuesdays at 14:00 in the Library (Anita Hugo)

Weekly

Regular sporting activities and friendly competitions at our estate facilities.

Includes:

How do I find out about upcoming events?

Events are announced via the estate newsletter, notice boards, and the community WhatsApp group. Check this page regularly or subscribe to notifications.

Yes! The clubhouse and braai areas can be booked for private functions. Contact the estate manager for availability and booking procedures.

Absolutely. Family members and guests are welcome at most social events.

Speak to any trustee or contact the estate manager. We are always looking for volunteers to help organise activities and bring new ideas to the community.

Most events are included in your levy contributions. Special events or external bookings may have a nominal fee, which is always communicated in advance.
